David Young

David Young is the Vice President of Operations for the Seattle Seahawks and the General Manager of CenturyLink Field, CenturyLink Field Event Center and the Washington Music (WaMu) Theater. Young was previously the Vice President of Stadium Operations with the Kansas City Chiefs. Prior to his time with the Chiefs, he spent six years with the Seattle Seahawks and First & Goal Inc. as the Assistant General Manager and Director of Guest Services. Young began his career working for the Walt Disney Company as an Operations Manager at the Magic Kingdom Park in Florida.

In his current position, Young oversees and directs all aspects of the operation of CenturyLink Field, CenturyLink Field Event Center and the WaMu Theater. Together these venues host more than 150 events and more than 2,000,000 guests annually. CenturyLink Field is the 69,000 seat home to the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Sounders FC and also plays host to concerts, motorsports and other world-class events. The CenturyLink Field Event Center is the largest event space in the state of Washington hosting events such as the Seattle Art Fair, Seattle Home and Boat Shows and many large private and corporate events. The Washington Music (WaMu) Theater is a 7,000 capacity music and entertainment venue that hosts everything from concerts to ESports competitions.

Enhancing the guest experience in-venue has been a key driver for Young throughout his career. While with the Chiefs, Young led the team that created the Chiefs Kingdom Pass, a ticket card that provided Chiefs fans with discounts and loyalty points while providing the club with a wealth of transactional and behavioral data to use to better enhance the fan experience. The focus on the fan continues for Young at the Seahawks in leading the creation of First and Goal Hospitality (FGH). FGH is an affiliate company of the Seahawks and is the exclusive concessions and catering provider at the stadium and event center. By bringing F&B in-house, the Seahawks are better positioned to provide exceptional guest service and food experience.
